A collection of portraits captured on 35mm film.

These photographs were captured when I traveled to Sri Lanka in 2018.

It was the first time that I really tried to push my comfort zone in the portrait realm whilst overseas, which lead me to experiencing a number of memorable encounters with locals.

Sri Lankan people are an extremely humble and generous bunch. I wanted to keep the framing and placement of these individuals as simple as possible by capturing them in their natural surroundings.

All images were shot with my Olympus OM-40.
